Thanks for visiting! I currently offer individual therapy sessions to those seeking help with stress, substance use, mood issues, and more.

Welcome to my therapy practice! My name is Emily Todd and I look forward to working together. Reaching out for help can be difficult, and taking time to research therapists is a powerful first step.

Let me introduce myself. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Idaho. I also hold active LMFT licenses in the states of Texas and California (license numbers at the bottom of this page). I love being able to work with individuals to help them identify difficulties and reach their goals in regards to stress, depression, substance use, and anything else they may be facing.

My Journey as a Therapist

I graduated with my Master’s degree from the University of San Diego in 2004. For nearly ten years, I worked in hospital settings both as a clinician and as a lead therapist. I worked with individuals in times of crisis, those struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, and many other people in need of counseling. I supervised licensed and pre-licensed mental health clinicians including therapists and case managers.

I continued my work in the addiction treatment field at a residential treatment program for adolescent boys in the juvenile justice system. I was part of a team that developed and managed care for boys, integrating individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.

In 2019, I was able to focus on my passion for holistic therapy. I began working at a holistic treatment facility for women. I worked to help foster post traumatic growth and freedom from addictive behaviors through individual and group counseling.

I began my private practice with the hope of being able to see people who I feel are truly a good fit for me. I work with the whole person so that we can help you heal mind, body, and spirit. I can help you integrate psychedelic experiences and find alternative ways to cope with stress and low mood.

With two decades of experience as a clinician, I love my work and the opportunity to play a role in the growth of each and every individual I see. Finding the right therapist can make all the difference, and it is my goal to be as supportive as possible during your journey.
